Phase 6 In January 2003 Benbecula Records were invited to play at the 10th Barcelona International Music Festival of Advanced Music and Multimedia Arts (Sonar for short).  The format of Sonarlab was label managers or founders playing a DJ set.  As Christ.'s new album was due out the month after, we managed to persuade them to allow Christ. to perform a live set alongside label co-founder Phase 6. That summer was one of the hottest in Europe for some years, with people dieing of heat fatigue in France.  Barcelona wasn't much different with the days and nights pretty unbearable. The Benbecula showcase was on the first day of Sonar, unfortunately being on a Thursday with around 25% of the capacity in attendance.  The Sonarlab was a relaxed affair with deckchairs facing the stage and people moving in and out of the enclosure. After lunch with the Anticon crew, we headed off to the complex and luckily the place filled out for our spot  Apart from a computer crash and the searing heat, everything pretty well.
