Frog
Pocket
"Moon Mountain of the Fords"
2003, Benbecula Records
(ben024 / ben024cd)
Since first contact with Frog Pocket through his Mouthmoth label
and appearance at the first Benbecula Showcase in 2000, there was
always the possibility of a release from Frog Pocket. His
appearance on Music Volume Two drew much praise for his track "Tony
Blair". During winter 2002/3, plans were started for a mini
album from a selection of previously released tracks and new material.
It wasn't until a year later that the EP saw the light of day, however
from Benbecula's point of view it was worth the wait. Drawing
from Frog Pocket's more sedate and melodic styles, the EP is a
compendium of (we think) his best work to date.
