With next to no promotion it received a warm welcome from the likes of The Wire who included "Nothing Beyond the Zero" on one of its "Wire Tapper" compilations. It also received airplay from as far afield as the Middle East and USA. Benbecula is more than happy to continue its exposure via the Minerals Series. The audio within is the usual journey into multiple textures and influences and is perhaps the most experimental Reverbaphon release yet. Relying more heavily on guitar and vocal parts than previous releases, the recordings are most definitely of the moment and once again illustrate Reverbaphon's dexterity in bending the traditional song rules.
